Winter Tasting Series
Give us a call at the shop (508-432-1650) to reserve your spot in any or all of the 8 scheduled events by providing a credit card number to pre-pay for your attendance. The cost of each event is $20 per person. You’re guaranteed to sample at least 5 wines alongside light fare that compliments the nuances of the wines – as well as have a speaker provide the story behind each bottle.
Wine Options (Date: January 27th, Time: 6-8pm)
Guaranteed to blow your mind and leave your belly splitting with laughter, this clever “game show-like” event is for those wine tasting aficionados who love a challenge. Space is limited to four teams of 6. Please do NOT be intimidated, this will be a fun night of exploration and surprise. Not to be missed.
Splendid Reds from High and Low (Date: February 3rd, Time: 6-8pm)
What better time of year to hunker down with a glass of red wine than chilly February? During this unique event, guests will be treated to a wide array of different styles of red – from places all over the globe.
The Forbidden Fruit (Date: February 10th, Time: 6-8pm)
We’ve all heard about the phenomenon happening in the wine business with the downturn in the economy. High end winery can’t sell their fruit or finished wine for top dollar, and elect to sell it off to select third parties for a severe discount. Sign up for this tasting and sample some of the best finds on today’s market.
Ridge (Date: February 17th, Time: 6-8pm)
There are a number of benchmark wineries that have helped shape the landscape of wine production in the United States, and this is definitely one of them. Attendees at this event will be delighted by a number of different red blends sourced from many different select vineyard designations.
Oregon: With a Hook. (Date: February 24th, Time: 6-8pm)
Like fish? Like wine? Then you’ll like this tasting. Guests at this event will sip and swirl through some tasty Pinot’s of both the red and white variety that are bound to delight your tastebuds.
Italiano! (Date: March 2nd, Time: 6-8pm)
Join us for this liquid tour through some of Italy’s best new values in red and white. From full bodied to light, guests will enjoy the samplings of a country that continues to deliver some of the best dollar-for-dollar bargains on the planet.
Sam Adams (Date: March 23rd, Time: 6-8pm)
Think you know all about Sammy? Think again. For our first beer tasting of the new year, what better company to start with? Guests at this highly sought after event will glug through some of Sam Adam’s tastiest seasonal brews as well as some artisanal offerings.
Value, Value, Value! (Date: April 6t, Time: 6-8pm)
When it comes to out and out quality per price on the bottle top, there is no better price performing area in the country than Washington State. Guests for this tasting will creatively sample through the likes of whites and reds of varied styles and sourcing. If you’ve always wanted to learn more about Washington state terrior, this is a great opportunity.
